As an author on obooko you may also enjoy receiving direct feedback from our members. Your e-book page will also have a download counter so you can monitor how many times your work has been downloaded.
All eBooks on obooko are Copyright protected. Your rights are retained in full while your book appears on obooko.
You could be a winner!
If you publish on obooko your book will be read by people from all walks of life, from all over the world; which is a great reward in itself. But there's more! What if all those readers voted your book as their favourite read of the year? Yes you could win an obooko prize!
The big competitions you hear about in the media are usually only for literary fiction. We're different: the obooko prize will include all genres and categories for fiction and non-fiction. What's more, the competition will be judged by our worldwide membership not a panel of literary experts. Obooko prizes will be awarded to authors whose books are voted as being the best in their genre/category, with a top prize for the winners of Best Fiction and Non-Fiction.
Feedback: for the member who has been most helpful and supportive to our authors via the Feedback process, we are also introducing an award for Favourite Reviewer.
What are the prizes? We are keeping this under wraps for the time being, but you can be sure that all winners will receive a worthwhile accolade. Being awarded an obooko prize is going to do your writing career a whole lot of good!
