At the end of each day, your story could be read to thousands of children around the world. Wow!

Didn't you love it when you were snuggled-up in bed, drifting off to the comforting voice of a grown-up reading a wondrous tale? Reading to children is quality time spent together. It is also beneficial in helping to extend a child's vocabulary while stimulating their imagination. It also introduces them to the joy or reading.

Typically, Bedtime Stories are short; between two and eight pages long. And they are a useful way to start publishing without having to spend the time required to write a novel. What's more, you won't need an editor because you'll receive valuable feedback from fellow members, who may spot a mistake or offer tips for improvement. Mostly, members will be telling you how much their children enjoyed your story. It's a simple and enjoyable way to learn the craft.

If you meet our basic conditions you may publish stories on obooko free. You may submit as many stories as you wish, under your real name or a pseudonym, and receive feedback for each.

Bedtime Stories are offered to members free of charge. There is no revenue for you or obooko. You will have to write that book if you wish to earn some money! However, It's a fantastic opportunity to practice your writing and get some feedback. Plus, the best stories will be selected and published in the obooko Bedtime Story Collections, which will be listed in the Children's book category.
