Wayne the Lazy Bird Angel

Wayne is a lazy, sarcastic bird angel who would rather read comic books than fly down to Earth and help anyone. When Zen, his boss upstairs, tells him his wings are on the line, Wayne is sent to a boy named Buster, whose card tricks are not going to win the school talent show. Wayne's plan is to turn the kid into a stand-up comedian instead, and the two of them trade insults, jokes and the odd card trick all the way to the big night. A short, funny story told in play script form about an unlikely guardian angel and the boy who teaches him to care.
