Sample Haiku:

wrestling sparrows /
deciding who owns
a patch of dirt

like one’s fingers
all touching on one’s hand /
Japanese maple leaves

between three
elder cherry trees
petals falling through light

music students
interrupt the chorus
of the cherry blossoms

mossy branches
at whip crack angles /
blossoms and blue sky

seated on grass /
his back turned to the
magnificent cherry trees

dandelions
and cherry petals /
Spring favors both

instead of clouds /
pale cherry blossoms
touching the sky

between myself
and this cherry tree
capitalism dies
