When four international students—two from India and two from Russia—vanish from their prestigious European campus, an ordinary semester turns into a high-stakes international crisis. As the students endure psychological pressure and isolation in captivity, Indian and Russian police units must overcome diplomatic hurdles and jurisdictional boundaries to dismantle a sophisticated criminal network. This gripping thriller explores the resilience of friendship under extreme terror and the dark realities of a world where students are used as leverage in a global game of power.
Excerpt,Chapter 1: The International Campus
The international campus of St. Albrecht Global University looked like a world stitched
together by ambition.
Flags from more than sixty countries lined the main boulevard, fluttering gently in the
late-afternoon breeze. Students walked past one another speaking different languages,
laughing in accents that carried pieces of home from thousands of kilometers away. To an
outsider, the campus felt alive, progressive, safe—a place where borders dissolved into
education, where the future was being quietly designed in lecture halls and libraries.
No one imagined that within days, this same campus would become the starting point of an
international nightmare.
A Place Built on Promise
The university was located on the outskirts of a European city—far enough from chaos to
feel protected, close enough to feel connected to the world. Glass buildings reflected the sky,
while older stone structures stood like guardians of tradition. CCTV cameras watched every
corner. Security guards patrolled regularly. Parents trusted it. Governments endorsed it.
Students dreamed of it.
For Aarav Mehta, the campus was everything he had worked for.
He stood near the central fountain, backpack slung over one shoulder, scanning the crowd
with a mix of curiosity and pride. Coming from Mumbai, this place still felt unreal. Clean
walkways, disciplined schedules, international classmates—it was nothing like home, and
yet it felt like the beginning of something bigger.
“Still staring like it’s a movie set?” a voice teased behind him.
