This is a complex story with twists and turns that require a variety of scenes; a variety of spotlights can be used to indicate change of scene instead of changing a whole set.
Settings suggested could be quickly adapted by an artistic director to become a spectacular movie. Actors can be larger than life and quite comical as some of the dialogue is humorous.
I have used the Septuagint along with the Massoretic text [ [our usual originally sourced Bible ] for some verification of dates and information.
Part of this play (ladies quarters) has been rehearsed by a ladies group, with much laughter.1 In a smaller theatrical group, Actors could enjoy playing two or three characters.
