The beauty of prepositions & ideas is manifestation & performance
Performance means the resulting effect of an engagement. It is the standardized outcome be it a success or failure that follows an engagement or an attempt done relentlessly or tirelessly. It is the end result or produce of whatever has been invested in the course of time and strength.
It is of no doubt that men are daily engaging themselves in one activity or the other. Mankind is meant for carrying out activities, the lifespan is for engagement. As seen in the Holy book in Genesis 1:26-28, it says that mankind is to be responsible for the issues of life in his realm by keeping the Garden of Eden (embedded in the garden are fishes, fowls of the air, plants, and ultimately everything on the earth). Responsibility is not just a title but a moving, and in-season actions.
Responsibility is activity in progress
It is undeniable that men are carrying out activities to stay on course and be responsible, but have you ever wondered why the level of result gotten can’t be really compared to the amount or level of energy exerted on their engagements. No doubt, I know you are trying your best and you have seen effects of things you have engaged in, and you are still seeing the results unfolding gradually. But come to think of it, are the results worth the engagement and the resources channeled into it?
Results beat results; results are in classes and pedestals
Results are more worthy than themselves. 50% is a pass mark, so also 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% and 100%. You and I both know that these marks can’t be assumed to be on the same level when we put their worth into consideration. I’m sure you know what a cut off mark is. When a cut off mark is set at 70% and a student scores 65%, he might have passed the examination but he is not qualified if the set cut off mark is followed.
Results are in classes, but is your speed and input on that assignment, or commitment putting you on the pedestal or level you are supposed to be by the intense level of your engagements? Note, the fact that you are getting results as regards some of your engagement does not means that, that is all that can come forth from it. There is more!
Ladders are equipped with enough steps; the step you stop climbing on depends on the height of the object you intend to climb. The ladder of life is blessed enough with numerous steps, your intended object to climb and its height thereof determines the step at which you will stop climbing. If you intend to climb a bungalow, you will definitely look for a ladder of a bungalow’s height, so is it when you intend to climb a 4-storey building.
Performance starts with an idea in motion. Everything we see (cars, buildings, businesses and so on) are all products of ideas that were set in motion for fulfillment. Every product emanated from ideas. The Coca Cola drink we see today was the idea of a man (Asa Candler) who bought a particular substance from another man (a chemist) who didn’t know much about the potential that lay inside the substance he sold out in a kettle. The young Asa Candler who was a business tycoon, bought the substance in that small kettle, reasoned well and added some other factors to the substance; and that was how the drink came into place. It was first produced in small quantity but as time went by, the tentacles of the drink went from personal consumption to families, states and countries of the world. The initial owner of that substance never could have imagined the power of the substance he sold out in little sum, but the buyer was thoughtful. Wow what an idea. The Ford car we are seeing around us today was the idea of a man named Henry Ford
