A collection of poems by Iranian poet, Sajad Sadeghi.
You were supposed to stay
by my side
Not to be close now, and so
far at night...
Oh scarecrow! Don't open
your arms out!
You've got nobody to hug!
Standing, gives you loneliness
I've tried this...
I prefer my own pillow
because today's shoulders
are like pillows in the inn
I know they have been
backing many heads!
In memory of my
childhood...
I’m circling the wrong
things...
myself…
The words “I love you”
is not like greeting
To say it to anyone whom
you are visiting!
have not forgotten you yet.
Great mistakes will be
never forgotten!
Remember when you're
bypassing me.
You learned love in my
roundabout.
You will turn back to me,
do not doubt.
These days, if someone
said, "I love you"
Ask “till what time?”
