From the book:

MANDIAS

Take center stage standing tall like martyr
To protect all watch road like Ozymandias
Like statue, come rain come sun it remain
Inanimate seeing as things begin uproar

Counting keeping record wind turns vane
Directions it points spirits go making hay
Yet unshaken concrete foot never move
Head up high and seen by a button click

View how far as to where the journey lead
Years in open field now covered by dream
From the past to good and beautiful scene
Till filling enlarged capacity to keep feeling

I am Mandias tourist far near come to see
Photos and to save memories never forget

APOCALYPSE

Whirl wind spinning globe and earth rotate
Eclipse of the sun to last a thousand days
Mountains dating back age keep growing
Voices in harmony all clamor to be free

Dread sights never to behold in lifetime
Tears mixed form colors and w'all paint
Wash to monochrome, spectrum views
Clanging metals warriors best and new

Fight through apocalypse time sun rise
Melting ice breaking chains bound cold
Taking steps, work to draw image bold
Life across, Eden like sheep and flock

Night but lasting dusk-dawn we strive
Struggle time vanish in coming hours
