This chapbook is a collection of sonnet poems with themes of Love, nature and experiences.
From the book:
WHAT'S NOT LOST
Air we breathe keeps the lungs longer
The feelings of wanting to fill hunger
The mouths that are dry and thirsty
Those that stay happy grow stronger
Voices are saying "Don't push further"
Spirits working hard injecting negativity
Deep in the minds of the young at heart
Painting times of stagnation and failure
What's not lost is the button to start
I'll turn mine on and drive till the end
Through time of doubt and challenges
Thoughts of climbing higher is not lost
The drive for success laid in the heart
Is the greatest of things that can't be lost
ONE TOUCH
One touch from you sends a burning fire
A feeling that has been my one desire
Your strokes so sensual I cannot resist
It goes from top to the bottom of the sea
That moment in time I am all yours
Picture so divine I won't skip a frame
Feelings all loosed, only you can tame
Emotions beginning to run into the wild
It's been searching from far and wide
Finding a way to calm these tide
And also to bring forth a child
I can't forget memories of your touch
A thousand of them come in one touch
WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE
When all is said and done we become mute
When life has squeezed from us all the fruit
There is nothing left to be done hence we go
To a place no one knows but everyone goes
All the stress and worries about tomorrow
While asleep the hair on our head still grow
No matter the situation faced time still goes
Cause its goal is for when all is said and done
I'll fix my eyes on the climax, final moment
Then I have a picture of all what I've done
All what I've said along this journey I'm on
Flashing in my memory as I go up the stair
After all is said and done we are still flesh
An organic matter that goes on to decay
