Tears is a collection of fourteen micropoems that have been paired with images taken from the Internet.
The more recent popularity of "micropoetry" to describe poems of 140 characters in length or shorter appears to stem from a separate coinage, as a portmanteau of "microblogging" and "poetry" in a notice on Identica on January 23, 2009, announcing the formation of a group for fans of poetry on that microblogging service.
Dream
In the cusp of sleep
When the dreamies leap
She flows throughout my mind
But when I wake
I am left with the ache
For the love I left behind
Silver Sliver
You corkscrew
Show your silver underbelly
A lightning flash in waters soft
I think of hot fires and bar-b-ques
Smile
Spinning from the tree
Nestled amongst your warmth
I spread my roots and smile
Heartburn
Falling leaves twist and turn
Hit the ground before they burn
Unlike my heart when you said goodbye
Fracking Frackers
They melt the ice
Drown the bears
Destroying things that aren’t theirs
Drill and frack
Look for oil
Not giving a damn ’bout what they spoil
Give Me Your Love
Give me your hurt
I will wipe away your tears
Give me your trust
I will wipe away your fears
Give me your love
I will wipe away the years
She Sits
She sits lonely by the stream
But it passes her by
Having given life, love and happiness
It now has nothing left to give
