SCIENCE AND RELIGION!
As opposed to science that's purely based
On reason, it's from faiths absolute fused,
That the religion draws its sustenance!
All the knowledge religious, the essence
Were passed on to humanity, by Seers,
Prophets, Sages; through centuries through scriptures!
Clearly science and the religions
Belong, to two entirely different domains
Yet some religious preachers try to explain
Religion in terms of science - why this disdain?!
What's your comment if a scientist succeeds -
Proving God’s non-existence and proceeds
To say that it's by the grace of the God
That he succeeded in proving God, fraud?
Naturally, though he succeeded in
It, the scientist still couldn't manage win -
Back his conscience kidnapped, while enjoying -
Mamma-milk; his subconscious is trying
Without success, to get freed from the jail,
Slavery; let's hope, one day, truth will prevail!
FAMILY AND RELIGION!
Here and there one could see families few
Brother, sister, parents - different hue!
Brother a Hindu, sister a Christian,
Father Moslem, mother Sikh puritan!
Doesn't the existence of families such,
Proof ample, to show how religions much
Could co-exist in family single?
Even atheist: do with them mingle!
Inter-religion marriage, though too rare
They take place as a result of love-affair!
But, very few wives and husbands could follow
Own religion after marriage: prestige allow'
Not them to do so: pity either wife
Or husband changing religion still rife
Someone is compelled, and the change instant
For the sake of the marriage fulfilment!
Otherwise, love affairs may turn failures
Will someone enlighten: which God did fix
Proselytizing, condition to mix!?
Because of heavy pressure or compulsion
Isn't bridegroom or bride changing religion?
Each believer, a kind of mental patient,
Oh! Fear psychosis, of God impatient
God's existence, a still debated one,
Not proved, though blind believers presume on!
Parents have no right to force the children
Into blind lambs; let them grow in modern
Scientific environment: not slave of your
Selfish dream God! Psychiatrists can't cure!
