Perry Matthews is arrested and charged with the murder of Jennifer Crowe, a casual acquaintance of his whom he had hoped would accept his serious overtures. She ignores him and pays with her life. He is sentenced to twelve years in prison with a non-parole period of ten years and three months. Because of his refusal to state to the Parole Board where he has disposed of the body, he must serve out his original sentence.
His cry of innocence is that he did not murder the woman so how is he expected to know where he disposed of her body.
Consequently, Detectives Lind and De Longo are ordered to re-exam the Case and to find the body of Jennifer Crowe. Any Forensic Trace evidence found around the grave site of the woman would confirm the guilt or otherwise of Matthews.
Upon his release Matthews is elated as he walks from the exit gate at the Penitentiary a free man…until Detectives Joseph Lind and his partner Angelica D’Longo greet him, charging him with making false statements to the Parole Board Hearings as per his constant cries of innocence and on suspicion of having committed the homicide murder of Vlad Sumner, another young colleague of Jennifer Crowe.
His cry of innocence again falling on deaf ears!
